Are You All That? DVD-Video Trivia Game Turns
Ordinary DVD Player into Interactive Gaming Console

Trivia has never been so Hip (or Interactive)

GORMLEY, Ontario, Canada – September 1, 2004 --  With  the mid-September release of Are You All That?,  an innovative, stand-alone DVD-Video trivia game, nearly 62 million households1 can multi-task their DVD players and use them as interactive video game consoles to enjoy nearly 300 hours of party fun and family entertainment.

Developed by California-based DVD Interactive (DVDi®) and published by Digital Leisure of Ontario, Canada, Are You All That?, is a fun-filled, hip-hop-meets-flower- power trivia game that can be played using any DVD player.  Are You All That? centers on the notion that everyone is “all that” (a self-proclaimed expert) about something.  The MC and host of the game is the irreverent, irrepressible Dr. Know-It-All Browne.

Presented in a stylized, retro game show format, this uniquely interactive, state-of-the-art trivia game for up to four players features 1,500 questions in six popular categories.  To play, the only equipment needed is a standard DVD video player with remote control and the desire to prove oneself to be truly “all that.”

Just pop in the Are You All That? DVD and get the party started.  No assembly, accessories, or game boards required.  Players can count on Dr. Know-It-All-Browne to know the score and to “dis” or “give props” as he sees fit based on individual performance.

Are You All That?™, is also compatible with PlayStation®2 and Xbox DVD consoles and PC DVD players.  Suggested retail price is $19.95.

Randomly selected Are You All That?trivia questions include a broad mix of timeless factoids, treasured nostalgia, contemporary tidbits, and a lot about pop culture.  Every question answered correctly proves a player has got the stuff, the juice, that makes him or her “all that.”

Adding to the fun, contestants get to play as one of four likeable characters, each representing a pop culture icon from the 1960s through the 1990s.  Catchy music and colorful graphics with hip retro, flower power, and psychedelic motifs help reinforce the game’s hip and cool factor.
